About Me

My love of photography is something that has always been present, I just did not realize it when I was younger. I thought everyone felt the same about capturing glimpses in time as I did. After I had my  daughter I took her to a local photographer for her newborn photos.  I was, and still am in love with those photos more then words can ever express.  I also became somewhat star struck with the photographer.  I followed her blog and took her workshops.  I wanted to give to others what she had given to me.   The newborn photos of my daughter Ruby are beautiful and elegant, something my family will always cherish.  I decided I was going to buy a Canon camera and it was full speed ahead.  I have taken many online classes and workshops not only to learn to use my camera, but also to learn exposure, composition, lighting,  photoshop, and even how to connect with small children who may not feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Looking back on my life I realize I have always liked to take pictures; to have a small piece of that exact time to hold in my heart and always remember.   Around 5th grade I started bringing a disposable camera to school every year on the last day of school.   I would take pictures of all of my friends and keep them tucked away in the envelopes they came in.  This carried on into high school and college, but instead of waiting until the end of the year I took pictures when we were just hanging out.  I wanted to always remember those times we had spent together.  Today all of those pictures are still in their envelopes tucked away.  I have photos from 7th grade I had taken of my best friend.   She has since passed away.  I still have those images and hold them close to my heart.  My goal is to create photos for you that will live on; pictures for your great-grandchildren to cherish, and also give them a view of your life at this time. Thank you for visiting my site.   I hope we can create beautiful memories together.
